Humans don’t want to die, why?
Deep in their hearts they have not finished what they were born to start.
When a person has discovered their destiny and has fulfilled their destiny will not fear death.
The Apostle Paul was not afraid to die, he died willfully “I have finished my cause, I have kept the faith, I have been poured out like a drink offering and there’s nothing left for me to do I am ready to be offered”
He had a clear confidence of death. NOT AFRAID TO DIE. BUT WHY?
HE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED WHAT THE LORD WANTED HIM TO DO.
Every person in life wants to succeed? Correct? How many of you want to succeed??
For you to succeed in life there is 5 questions you must answer… Everyone is attempting to answer these questions. Including the person in your chair right now. These questions control the human race. They create everything in the planet that you must do. The source of crime, corruption, every problem that human faces is in these 5 questions. Our attempt to find the answer to these 5 questions is the cause of all of our behavior.

WHO AM I? IS A QUESTION OF IDENTITY.
The average human is still struggling with SELF IDENTITY
That is why most of us are other people…. Let that sink in…
You wear MJS, LeBron’s, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Adidas, Tiffany & Co, H&M, Channel, Rolex, Prada, New Balance, Michael Kors, Under Armor… the list goes on and on and on.
In reality You don’t wear yourself.
These are people, because we have no identity we want to be like them. So you put on other people’s identity to feel important…
That is why we see gangs today they try to make, what N___s for themselves because- No Identity
People kill why? They are trying to get a what? I—d–e–n–t–i–t–y
People don’t steal what is not name brand. Have you noticed that. There is IDENTITY when it has a name like the ones I mentioned earlier.
People follow… we tend to follow styles, the way we talk, the way we act, dance, the TRENDS… we battle with the question of Who AM I?
We have become someone else and lost our true self, now we look like other people.
You start to hurt yourself trying to be like other people.
You hate your face, so you try to look like other people. You hate your own style, so you try to fit in to the crowd…
That is why the entire industry of fashion is built on your lack of self identity.
They feed that, by selling you other peoples images.
WHO AM I? IS A QUESTION OF IDENTITY.
Ask this to adults. You will see they have a hard time identifying this.
Who are you I asked myself? I’m a Industrial Technician, no that is what I do.
Who are you? I am a dad, husband, a teacher, a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. No that is what you do.
If you try to find out who we are we must remove our culture. Remove the brand, the way you style your hair style. Remove your way of talking, Remove your friends, Remove Remove Remove all the trending things about you…
WHAT DO YOU HAVE LEFT??
All you have left is the person, the hu-MAN GOD CREATED. People have struggled with this since the beginning of creation.
Adam and Eve did not know who they were and Failed! They failed Miserably.
Satan persuaded Eve to eat of the FRUIT of Knowledge- He told her you can be like God! Adam and Eve lost something that day, their Identity.
Let’s read about it.
1 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
2“Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3“It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” 4“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5“God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
6The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. 7At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. CONFRONTING OUR IDENTITY
Satan plants doubts in our minds so that we can question the person God created us to be and blindly pick up the fake identities he throws our way.
I believe many people have done this if not all of us in this very room.
Earlier I told you to remove everything that you identify with. This is why… God wants to take you back to the Beginning because his plans far outreach your plans . His design for your life is so great that King David describes it as VAST, You are thinking about becoming a teacher while God wants you to open a school. You have plans to become a famous sports star while God wants you to own the team. You often cheat yourself because you don’t realize the potential you have. Why settle?…………………… Our Identity is lost.
WHO ARE YOU!!!!!
